Obscene?

During the 50's, a lively debate was going on regarding the use of obscenities on television.  The question was-- what is obscene?  Edward R. Murrow was interviewing famous author Carl Sandberg and asked what he considered the most obscene word in the English language. Surprisingly Sandberg replied, exclusive.  I totally agree.
